Two people were killed and another 30 injured after a Transportes Del Norte bus driver who wasn’t paying attention failed to notice traffic had slowed and crashed.
Construction on I-10 caused traffic to slow down near Weimar, Texas, but a bus driver failed to notice this and smashed into a car and an SUV. Two people were killed in the accident, including the bus driver, and another 30 were injured.
The bus was owned by Transportes Del Norte, a company that transports people between Mexico and the U.S. This particular bus was en route to North Carolina when it crashed. According to eyewitness reports, by the time the bus driver put on his brakes, it was too late to avoid hitting the car and smashing it into another vehicle.
