Houston, TX (January 15, 2023) – A motor vehicle crash that took place on Friday morning has claimed the life of one person, according to the Houston Police Department. On January 13, at around 6:40 a.m., the Houston Police Department and local firefighters responded to a crash on the Eastex Freeway.
Preliminary investigations provided by HPD show that a truck that was towing a bulldozer collided with a second vehicle on the northbound side of Eastex Freeway during the early morning hours.
The traffic crash caused severe delays in the area.
One person was fatally injured as a result of the crash and pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported as a result of this accident.
The police department in Houston is actively investigating.
