A recent donation by the Wyatt Law Firm, PLLC, helped the Elf Louise Christmas Project exceed its 2020 fundraising goal of $300,000. For more than 50 years, the volunteer program has been distributing Christmas presents to children in need. That need is even greater this year because of the impact of the pandemic. We are proud to do our part to help families in the greater San Antonio area.
The firm’s donation, by way of the Wyatt Family Foundation, is the first installment of what will become an annual donation and year-round partnership with the Elf Louise Christmas Project. Our team is excited to help raise money and raise the profile of this fantastic program. It is one of the many ways we have stepped up our community involvement in response to COVID-19, from helping to feed essential workers and reward plasma donors to donating to food banks and animal shelters.
Every Child Deserves Presents From Santa
The Elf Louise Christmas Project was founded in 1969 by Louise Locker to make sure less fortunate kids had holiday presents too. Through donations, volunteers shop for and wrap thousands of toys and gifts. Those presents are then delivered in person by volunteers in Santa suits. The organization reports that this year they are serving many struggling families who have never needed help before. While the delivery process was changed slightly due to the pandemic, the Elf Louise Christmas Project was determined to continue their mission even under these difficult circumstances.

The Elf Louise Christmas Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, funded by donations and supported by 4,500 volunteers each year.
